I am an architect in Washington, DC. We are reviewing several products for a project in Annapolis, Maryland. We are working on designs for a “transitional theatre” which is to hold orchestral and theatrical performances and is planned to remain in use for 5-10 years. Since it is a transitional, and somewhat temporary structure, cost is a very large factor. As it will be a performance space, the acoustical performance of the membrane, both to enhance sound quality within the space and to contain sound within the venue are of great importance.
