as a result of the merger of Able Electronics
(est. 1978) and F & T Electronic Die Corp .
(est. 1981, an affiliate of A & S Electronic Die,
a pioneer of electronic RF Heatsealing since
1950), many people in the industry welcomed
the merger as a logical move to the creation of
the sole industry leader.
